SYNOPSIS:

OUR HERO'S JOURNEY
Do you believe in Demons? Maxwell "Max" Bastas didn't, but one morning he awoke lying on the floor of his kitchen with his shirt covered in blood and holding an automatic pistol. He has no idea how he fell asleep in the middle of his living room, where the blood came from, or how he came into the possession of the gun. Max believes he is loosing his mind and that the world is attacking him, but the reality is that his soul is being afflicted with demons. With out any family or friends Max is morbidly alone and starts to realize he is fighting for his soul, not his mind. Max's fear gets the best of him and he attempts to run but he is not even positive of what he is running from because you can not run from yourself. It may have been luck or fate, but Max is taken in by a kind hearted soul and for the first time Max feels a sense of comfort. It will only last for a short while. Max's torment grows as he drags his kind hearted companions into his hell. What Max does not realize is that he is being slowly taken over by a powerful demon. Nobody can save Max, not even a priest. Max needs to come to "a realization" and "make the right decision."

ABOUT THE FILM:

No one fights to get into hell, but everyone will fight to get into heaven, including MAX. A Harrowing-tormented-horror Tale of Good vs. Evil. Maxwell, an Actuary, is an expert at Risk management. Hooked with anger, it starts to consume his soul until he realizes he is grappling with demons. Beelzebub, the lord of the flies, plagues Max to commit suicide to end his chaos. Destiny drops max right into the hands of the Fisherman's, Emma and Lester. After Max finds sanctuary under Emma's roof, a string of wicked events brings down an avalanche of evil upon Max and everyone attempting to help him. Priests, Rabbi's and his new found friends all fight and die attempting to aid Max which culminates into a battle against Satan himself. Testing all of their Will's to believe in a higher path…or allow The Devil to conquer. This film is a supernatural horror story, but the style is completely its own. It is presented realistically where the audience can identify with the characters (it has overtone's back to the Gothic horror films like "The Exorcist" or "The Shinning"). What makes Demon Equation unique is the story. We follow Max's lonely journey as demons slowly rip at his soul and try to take over. The entire film was shot on location in surrounding Metro Detroit Areas.
